Ubuntu Mobile Team Reports

Building Community

As the UME project continues to grow
at an incredible pace, it can often be quite
difficult for other teams or individuals to get
an idea of what is going on in the mobile
corner of the universe.

It is essential to keep a good level of
communication between different parts of
a project like Ubuntu. It prevents duplication of
work, helps identify new areas of potential
and well, 'we are what we are because of who
we all are', no ;)

In the best open source tradition I
recently volunteered to be responsible
for the Mobile and Embedded Reporting
Page

Every month this page will reveal a snapshot
of the work that has been done on the Ubuntu
Mobile and Embedded Project.
So, if you have have been working on
the project and want to let others know what
you have been up to, try to summarize it there.

A few guidelines for how to write good points are:

  • Keep it simple and short - single sentences are best.

  • Try to summarize your work and not be over-detailed

  • Where possible, include relevant links.

Community contributions are actively
encouraged!
